WHAT WE DO
The objectives of South Shore Workforce Investment Board are simple: meet the needs of the south shore region by providing quality career development and placement through its services. We strive to accomplish this by overseeing critical initiatives, including One-Stop Career Centers, the Workforce Training Fund, Youth Council, and other initiatives as needed.
SSWIB partners with major corporations as well as small businesses, educational institutions, community-based organizations and labor in order to meet the ever-changing demands of the region's workforce.
As the liaison to workforce development programs in the South Shore region, our mission is to:
