  One-Stop Career Centers  
 
The One-Stop Career Centers in Plymouth and Quincy provide a wide array of employment-related services for employers and job seekers. By simply becoming a member of the Career Centers, any employed or unemployed individual has the right to access the services and resources of the One-Stop Career Centers. Any business in the region can also use the free job listings, recruitment and placement services of the Centers.

The Division of Career Services (DCS) oversees the Commonwealth’s network of 32 One-Stop Career Centers that assist businesses in finding qualified workers and provide job seekers with career guidance as well as referral to jobs and training.

Directions

Route 3 South (Exit 7 at the 128 split) to Exit 18 (Quincy Adams T/Braintree). Follow signs for Quincy Center (Burgin Parkway). Follow directions below.

Route 3 North to Exit 19 (Quincy Center/Quincy Adams T). Follow signs for Quincy Center (Burgin Parkway). Follow directions below.

From Burgin Parkway: At the 4th set of lights (approx. 1 mile) take a right onto Concourse Street. At the first light, go straight - the Career Center will be easily visible on your right.

From Boston on the “T”: Take the Red Line to Quincy Center Station. Exit station onto Hancock Street, go right. Stay on Hancock, then take a right onto Cliveden Street. Left at end of Cliveden, walk approx. 2 blocks - you will see the Quincy Career Center on the left. Approx 15 minute walk.

By Bus: Take Bus 215, 230, or 238. Ask driver to drop you at the corner of School Street and Parkingway. Walk down Parkingway. The Career Center will be around the corner on the right. Less than 5 minute walk.

Directions

From Route 3 North or South, take Exit 9 (Route 3A Kingston/No. Plymouth).
Turn onto Route 3A South - follow 3A South approximately 1.7 miles.
At traffic light, take left into Cordage Commerce Center. Bear to the right - #36 is at the right end of the building.
There is ample parking at either side or in the rear of the building. Suite 200 is on the first floor.

    The MA Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) is now available to assist Massachusetts businesses train their workers and any new hires. Detailed information can be found at the state website (www.mass.gov/wtfp). There are several important changes to the grants including a rolling application process for the General Grants. The South Shore Workforce Investment Board is always available to answer questions and to assist businesses interested in applying for a Workforce Training Fund Program Grant.VIEW SITE
